Jewish woman is ‘held prisoner and raped’ in France to 'avenge Palestine': Suspect sent text to victim’s mother saying ‘I will desecrate your daughter, you will never see her again’

 In France, a guy claiming to 'avenge Palestine' allegedly assaulted a Jewish woman and threatened her with murder.


Following his arrest in Gennevilliers on Sunday, a 32-year-old man was charged with 'death threats due to religion' and drug possession.


The woman, who is alleged to have met the suspect on a dating app in 2023, claimed she was trapped in the suspect's home before counter-terrorism police searched the residence on Avenue Chenard-et-Walker and arrested him.

According to police sources, the suspect took the woman's phone and texted her mother and ex-boyfriend. He wrote to her parents, 'Good luck, you will never find your daughter again, you will never see her again, I will destroy your daughter.'

He wrote to his old boyfriend about wanting to 'avenge Palestine'.

The victim was able to alert authorities when she retrieved her phone on Sunday and phoned her mother for assistance, resulting in the geolocation of her call and an arrest later that day, first suspected of kidnapping.

According to BFMTV, the suspect admitted the death threats, but defined them as 'provocations'.

The woman informed investigators that she had been raped by the suspect.

It was also revealed that the man threatened to 'prostitute' the woman in texts to her mother.

According to local media, the man was arrested in Nanterre and placed under judicial supervision, including a restriction on owning a firearm and coming into touch with the victim.

According to reports, the rape claim is still under investigation.

Police custody was lifted on Tuesday, ahead of The trial will begin on June 21 in front of the 16th Criminal Chamber.

The issue caused national outrage in France, prompting harsh reactions from politicians.

Elsa Faucillon, Hauts-de-Seine MP, posted on Twitter/X that she was 'horrified by this disgusting and anti-Semitic attack' and expressed'solidarity and heartfelt thought for this woman'.

Former presidential candidate Marine Le Pen wrote: "Far-left politicians, who for six months have multiplied inflammatory declarations and speeches of unacceptable violence, bear a heavy responsibility in this climate of anti-Semitism."
